With a range of strategic priorities the focus for Hockey NSW in the coming years will be growing the sport at the grass roots participation level. Our sport has been on the decline (even prior to Covid-19) and we need to attract new participants to our game to help grow the base of player registrations.
To complement some specific growth strategies and tactics a concerted marketing campaign targeting children in the 5-12 age demographic and across all cultures was deemed essential to assist our endeavours.
Hockey NSW is the state governing body for hockey across New South Wales and are responsible for the growth and development of the sport. The organisation has undergone some significant change in structure and personnel over the last 12 months with a new Chief Executive and Executive team coming into the business.
Hockey NSW engaged the services of Ucidity to assist us in designing and delivering an exciting visual representation and call to action to distribute via a range of social media channels and methods including posters, banners, and flyers.
Following some focus sessions with the Ucidity team the “Change it Up-Choose Hockey” marketing campaign was launched on February 1st, 2023. The “Change it Up-Choose Hockey” campaign and collateral will be rolled out over the coming years and will be the cornerstone of our marketing activities for the ensuing years.
